With Christmas just around the corner, here is a one-day charity event that you don’t want to miss! The Twilight Christmas Markets is coming this 24 November in South Brisbane.
Experience early Christmas cheer as the Ladies Auxiliary of the Greek Community of St George bring you Twilight Christmas Markets at the courtyard of the Greek Orthodox Church in Brisbane, corner of Besant and Edmonstone St.
This one-day event will feature jewellery stalls, plant stalls, Christmas novelty stalls, and food stalls. Delicious treats for your sweet tooth like jams and Greek sweets such as kourabiedes (pastries with almonds and icing sugar), Melomakarouna (honey biscuits), and Loukoumades (honey balls), especially prepared by the Greek ladies, will also be on sale.
There will be a Greek cultural stall with a choir of Greek school to serenade shoppers with Greek and English carols. Kids entertainment is also guaranteed with an on-site petting zoo plus a photo opportunity with Santa, no less.
